Last week was a fun one, with two great gigs of very different sizes.
On Wednesday I got to see Beabadoobee play an instore acoustic show at Vinilo Record Store in Southampton. Congrats to Bea on making it to number 4 in the UK album charts (I bought two copies 💁🏼). On Thursday I was at The O2 arena for the mighty HAIM. I didn’t think they could top the last time I saw them at Alexandra Palace in 2018, but they blew the roof off the Millennium Dome. When I included their alternative version of Gasoline featuring Taylor Swift on the mixtape I put together for last week’s newsletter, I never thought in a million years that she would join them on stage to perform it. 🤯
