My gig going year has kicked off with a trio of very different shows. The first was at the tail end of last month with the Isle of Wight’s latest fine export, Coach Party at The Joiners in Southampton.
A little under two weeks later I finally got to see our generation’s greatest pop star (IMO) Carly Rae Jepsen at O2 Academy Bristol.
Last week I was back at my old haunt on Holdenhurst Road, The Anvil (formerly iBar) for Will Varley.
All three shows have been archived in my Gigography and I’ll continue adding to it throughout this year.
While in Bristol we got to visit Wake The Tiger. Billed as “the world’s first amazement park”, this is really something and well worth checking out if you’re in the area. Here’s a few photos I took but I’m keen not to spoil too much for those who think they might go.
