Throughout August I’ve been based at Foundry co-working space in Poole. From BU to Grapevine, this month has always proven quieter for me as colleagues take annual leave for the school summer holidays. I find it a challenge to maintain any momentum and September is always a challenge as a result.
Placing myself in a different environment for a day, particularly as the week begins to slump, has really helped. I’ve enjoyed the company of those I’ve shared desk space with (Matt, Chloe, Matt, Gordon..) and the positive energy of the place (other people passing through, events taking place..) has definitely kept me motivated.
Thank you to Adam, Ema and Esraa for their generosity and making me feel very welcome. I’m pleased to share that I will be continuing my Thursday visits throughout September.
