For this month’s You Are The Media Lunch Club the batton pased from Mark Masters to Christophe Stourton. I got a little distracted after the event (the Dorset Business Awards ceremony was that evening) and missed my chance to commend Christophe for a stellar job of hosting what is always a wonderfully unruly event.
In addition to that, I want to say thank you to Christophe for the coaching session he very generously provided for a few YATM folk back in July. The summer is always a bit of a slump for me and I clearly carried this into the meeting with Christophe.
He had to stop me to point out that I’d said “the problem is…” multiple times. Being made aware of it didn’t stop me either, I just noticed each subsequent time (painfully) as the words repeatedly left my mouth.
The two hour pep talk set me on a far better course heading into August and I credit him in part for the energy and renewed enthusiasm that I found for my work, which has propelled me through to writing this today, admittedly a little burnt out now, three months later.
