My Grapevine colleague Paul and I were invited to an event hosted by our client Salad at their office space on Poole Quay. Like Grapevine, Salad are an employee owned business, having made the jump a couple of years ago.
Arabella Lewis-Smith and Harry Pocknell from Salad are running a workshop alongside Steve Jones at the EOA conference in Liverpool next month. We were asked if we’d like to sit a trial of the session alongside some other employee owned businesses from the local area and further afield.
At the end of such a busy month in our business it was brilliant to hear from others on a similar journey to us, to share best practice and how we’ve each overcome challenges. Mark my word, in a couple of years I think there’ll be a lot more of us locally adopting the employee ownership model and I look forward to passing on what we’ve learnt.
