Fresh from the two back-to-back events at Grapevine on Wednesday, Thursday saw the March edition of You Are The Media Lunch Club. This month’s host was Mo Humphries, who had already delivered a successful spring ’24 Business Futures session, which I attended earlier in March, and she did an equally great job of compèring both events.
I had a front row seat for John Jocham (a.k.a ‘The Wire King’) in his element, on a panel all about ‘buy in’, alongside Sarah Levett, Katie Caiger and Natasha Hall.
Lunch Club is in such a fantastic place (I don’t just mean the venue), it’s hit a groove comparable to the pre-pandemic streak at The Shelley Theatre. Mark Masters has the format nailed, attendees know what to expect and it always delivers.
I’m honoured to have played a small part in the show since it returned with the regular schedule of events at Pi last July. I feel it may soon be time to pass the baton and allow someone else to have the fun of playing referee for the world record attempts. If you think you could be interested, let’s talk.
