This week saw the annual You Are The Media flagship event, Creator Day, a week of occasions in Poole, centred around a one-day conference with a difference, hosted by Mark Masters at the Lighthouse.
I was very honoured to be asked to present one of the ‘village vignette’ 5 minute segments (although I did overrun – sorry Mo Humphries!), sharing some thoughts and stories on the theme of ‘joining in’. I’ve written an article based on this short talk which you can read here.
Thank you to everyone who shared such kind words following my stint on stage. Being on a stacked bill with so many fantastic speakers, it really meant the world that anything I had to say would be remembered and picked up for further discussion, at the after party and in the days since.
To ‘join in’ is so important though, and these slots on the conference schedule are a testament to how serious Mark is about encouraging it.
