I don’t need an excuse to visit a brewery… I have an archive full of them, but I’ll always welcome one, even if it’s first thing in the morning, as was the case yesterday for the latest Dorset Ambassadors event.
I’ve been over to Hall & Woodhouse’s Blandford Brewery before, but this was my first time seeing behind the scenes and hearing about the history of the business. Thank you Anthony Woodhouse for the extensive tour of the brewery and entertaining talk.
I limited myself to two beers from the shop (this is somewhere I’m happy to ‘exit through the gift shop’), one of which was this brilliant Black IPA from the brewery’s ‘Outland’ range. It tasted, and looked great in my Stormtrooper helmet tankard.
